This mobile filtration station produces potable water from sea, river, stream or even from sewer. It is even possible to remove chemical warfare agents on principle of reverse osmosis, and not with chemicals, while process refuse returns back into the source. There is possibility for a long-term storage. Water preparing plant is suitable for critical situations. Continual transport is possible. Device handling and installation are simple and operational costs are low.

Except for Neptun 400 device we distribute also other types of mobile filtration stations: Neptun 750, Neptun 1500 and Neptun 3000. Mentioned type descriptions mean the volume of produced potable water in litres per hour from sea water. This delivery is doubled if the water is produced by the same device but from fresh water, contaminated. In case of steady polluted but not contaminated water, e.g. water stream, delivery is even fivefold.

To modify water, technology of filtration, ultra filtration and ensuing desalination on principle of reverse osmosis is used. This procedure of modification totally removes bacteria, seaweed, viruses and their development stages and part of colloid dissolved substances with higher efficiency compared to classic water supply process. The combination of reverse osmosis and ultra filtration is advantageously used wherever, where it is possible to mix both flows of modified water. Thanks to this, disfavourable occurence of inorganic dissolved substances is eliminated. This procedure ensures that larger quantity of potable water with lower costs is coming by. The mixture ratio is set on the base of analysis.

High efficiency of filtering allows installation of these filtration stations also in critical situations caused by natural disasters and war conflicts, when natural resources can be contaminated on purpose by toxic materials. The water, which went through the filtration process, is totally hygienically ensured while all bacteria, seaweed and viruses including their development stages are removed. Distribution of water can be ensured by classic system or it is possible to supply the device with PET bottle filler eventually with dosage of taste.

Suction and delivery height of this station is 25 meters, maximal horizontal distance from water source is 50 meters and time of rollout and rolldown of a suction hose and installation of a suction part last up to 1 hour. The filtration station is able to run under the following climatic conditions: temperature: -25°C +50°C, rain 3 millimeters/minute.

Description of the function of water preparing plant

Crude water is sucked through suction part by a pump into an input reservoir of water preparing plant. A suction part is stainless submersible pump placed on a float with scalper screen. This scalper screen ensures suction piping against larger foreign matters as leaves, sprigs, stones etc. A water level scanner situated on a float ensures that input pump never runs without water. Water level is indicated by level scanner and this information is forwarded to control system. From input reservoir, crude water is sucked through mechanical filter to procedural reservoir of ultra filtration unit. This procedure of modification totally removes bacteria, seaweed, viruses and their development stages and part of colloid dissolved substances with higher efficiency compared to classic water supply process. Furthermore, there is no occurrence of other dissolved substances in modified water. Thanks to ultra filtration unit, the output water is already potable – in case that crude water and its contents of inorganic dissolved substances corresponds with requirements for water to be potable, because the process of ultra filtration doesn’t remove ionic dissolved compositions.

Concerning surface and estuarial water, required value of output salinity and so the quality of potable water, is achieved by mixing input water, determined to go through reverse osmosis unit, and its output. Entire water preparing plant reaches optimal delivery in whole range of input salinations. In case of organic substances and dissolved inorganic salts, completely whole volume of produced water is being desalinated. Delivery of entire water preparing plant together with system performance of resource device is adjusted according to this condition.

After desalination, the water goes through an agitator where it is possible to dose minerals, modify pH value and dose disinfection cleaner.

After then, the potable water is put into storage reservoir with volume of 1000 l and distributed to consumer place or to larger storage reservoir.

Entire process described above is fully automatic; operating staff is informed in case of error disposition or operation condition by touchpad display screen of control section. Water preparing plant scans also diesel fuels level in storage reservoir and informs operating staff about critical disposition of fuel. In case fuel is not filled, it stops itself automatically and does necessary cleaning and conservation procedures.
